Apply for an NIE Number
If you have purchased a property in Spain and plan to live there for more than three months, you will need an NIE number. This number functions as a Spanish personal identification number for non-Spanish citizens and is essential for, among other things, paying taxes, opening a bank account, and accessing healthcare. For Swedish citizens, this can be arranged either in Sweden or in Spain.
